Leslie Stevens

 

​Leslie Stevens is a director/choreographer, actor/dancer, and teacher/writer who loves the challenge of new things.

She's a Broadway veteran with roles in "La Cage Aux Folles" and "Victor Victoria" with Julie Andrews.  She has danced and acted her way through 30+ years of professional theatre on both coasts.  Recent favorite stage roles include Aerial in "Grumpy Old Men", Madame Baurel in "American in Paris", the Narrator in "Every Brilliant Thing", and Roxie in "Chicago".  She danced as a soloist for Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, the Dayton Ballet under the direction of James Clouser and a decade plus with LA Opera.  In 2017, Leslie made her choreographic debut with the LA PHIL at Walt Disney Concert Hall with the opera "Nixon in China".  She has created original choreography for 3-D Theatricals' award-winning productions of "Into The Woods", "Side Show", "Full Monty" (LADCC Nomination), "Hello Dolly", "Oklahoma", and "Secret Garden".  She is adjunct faculty at AMDA-LA teaching in the Dance & Musical Theatre Department.
